What an amazing weekend for yours truly. I attended my very first Photography Convention in Covington Kentucky where I had the immense honour of meeting some of the best photographers in the business. Their information was priceless and I am so very thankful that I stepped outside of my comfort zone and went. While I was there not only did I get one on one with some of the greats but I also got to go on a field trip to the Cincinnati Zoo with Kevin Dooley. Sigma lenses graciously donated a 100-400 lens for us to borrow while we were there as well. This is one of those experiences that will stick with me for a very long time. Getting expert advice, tips and tricks, I was just overwhelmed by the wealth of education that was being handed down. We made the best of what we could since not too many of the animals wanted to come out and play on that cold and windy day. After the zoo, we did what any person would do after spending all day in the cold, we got ice cream at Graeters.
